API: Each tablet contains: 25mg Vitamin K1(Phytonadione)

Pack size: 60 tablets

Indication: Phytonadione is used to treat anticoagulant rodenticide toxicity and bleeding disorders associated with faulty formation of Vitamin K-dependent coagulation factors (I.e. secondary to hepatic disease). It can also be used in cases of reduced Vitamin K absorption due to fat absorption disorder in cases of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) and bile duct obstruction.

Dosage:

• Lower dose 2.5mg/kg (1 tab/10kg) PO BD with fatty meal
• Higher dose 5mg/kg (1 tab/5kg) PO SD with fatty meal

Recommended minimum duration of treatment based on rodenticide toxin group: Short-acting anticoagulant rodenticides (I.e. warfarin, pindone) = 14 days

Bromadiolone = 21 days

Second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (I.e. brodifacoum, difethialone, difenacoum) = 28 days
